Zimmerman Pets is the midwest's outstanding source for hand-fed, hand-raised baby exotic birds. We raise a variety of babies including African Greys, Amazons, Cockatiels, Cockatoos, Conures, Lories, Macaws and Parakeets. We also offer a wide selection of cages, toys and diet options.

We are located in northwest Iowa. We have been hand-raising exotic birds since 1990, and we are very proud of our state of the art avairy. We strive to raise healthy, well socialized babies. All birds are banded upon arrival in the nursery, for tracking and indentification purposes. We at Zimmerman Pets know that experience is the best teacher, therefore, we prefer to hand-feed and wean your new baby bird for you, thus reducing the risk of burned crops, aspiration and other weaning problems for your new baby. Those who are experienced in hand-feeding may be able to purchase an un-weaned baby, however, unweaned birds carry NO warranties. We also sometimes have breeder birds available. Feel free to ask.
